Sauvignon, also called Sauvignon Blanc, is a white grape variety from the French region of Bourdeaux. The name comes from the French term “sauvage” (savage), as it is a native grape variety of the south-west of France. It is one of the most widespread white grape varieties in the world.
Sauvignon is rich in fragrances and aromas, its bouquet is complex with intense but delicate and lingering flavours, with hints of nutmeg, spices, tropical fruit and yellow pepper.
On the palate, it is elegant, velvet-smooth, warm and harmonious. Bright straw yellow color with green tinges.
